ENTHUSIASM is a big part of my success. If i can stay enthused, then I believe i can do anything. I am often cynical and jaded though. If enthusiasm is inherently implanted in your character traits, thank your mama and daddy. 

Look at my view on the way in the mornings though! How incredibly beautiful is Charlotte?

Lastly...

if this isn't a sign from the gods that I NEED A DOG, then i don't know what the heck is. The only thing is i don't know how much i trust a dog walker named "Jose"...and one that chooses a font like that. I guess he is attempting to target a specific crowd, knowhatimean?

CONFESSION TIME

I can’t cook.

Cleaning skills are limited. 

I am a beauty product hoarder. 

I love to learn but hate to study. 

I am the worst English major in the world. 

As much as I have attempted to suppress my desires, I want to become a lawyer. 

I talk about wanting a dog a little less than 92 times a day. puppy fever puppy fever. 

WHY AM I BLOGGING YOU ASK?

I need a creative outlet for all of the analytical bull-SHIP that being a 1L entails. A favorite subordinate clause of mine is, "as an English major" because that has been my most recent identity... Alas...

As an English major, I can tell you that I read QUITE A BIT in undergrad. Now, as a little law student, a vast transcendence of the minuscule amount of reading in undergrad has ensued. Read, brief, read, brief, go to class, read brief...ya'll get it. IT. IS. KILLER. 

Anyways, so here I am in the AMAZING Queen City of Charlotte, North Carolina... City of Queens, City of Dreams? Amirite? I have been here for two weeks: one of orientation and one of class. I have picked up a few friends, but certainly missing some old. 

Today I attempted to find a church. I have never really actively SOUGHT out a church; the one I have been going to in Johnson City I have attended since I was a seahorse in Vacation Bible School. So when looking for a church, I don't have a "checklist". Elevation Church in Uptown Charlotte proved to be everything on my nonexistent checklist. So hopefully some regularity to come in my life other than studying and EATING, my goodness! 

Alright my darlings, enough for now! I have put off my blogging attempts for much too long, and thus am so ecstatic to begin! if not for anyone, at least for myself.
